Last week fuel prices came down around 9fils a litre. It's still expensive compared to the Sandpit, but it's quite a psychological boost knowing the price will come down :-)Jaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06546956519928584352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7655889105820772060.post-45693387929520174852010-07-15T15:44:45.078+03:002010-07-15T15:44:45.078+03:00I remember my father running out of petrol because...I remember my father running out of petrol because he refused to pay 75p a gallon, believing that somewhere it was 73p.

It was a while ago.Grumpy Goathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07944514711900089561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7655889105820772060.post-57325922689661996392010-07-15T11:51:34.973+03:002010-07-15T11:51:34.973+03:00I think they should raise the price to UK levels. ...I think they should raise the price to UK levels. Would have a number of beneficial effects. Reduced traffic everywhere (not just SZR). Reduced emissions by people not buying 4x4 anymore. Less air pollution outside schools as selfish mothers may think twice about leaving their motor running for 15mins while they go in to pick up their beloved and stop for a chat with other mothers who have also left their motor running. Huge new revenue stream for state. Maybe fewer accidents as people are more delicate with their right foot in cars unsuitable for high speed (ie all 4x4 with exception of X5).Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17686713163229053516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7655889105820772060.post-46742160726678428152010-07-15T10:31:42.449+03:002010-07-15T10:31:42.449+03:00You're a bad man, McNabb!
